Research Content

Our research topics are an understanding and a control of heat and mass transfer phenomena such as evaporation, condensation, frost formation, absorption, adsorption occurring in various energy systems. These efforts will contribute to develop optimal system control method and to improve system performance.

  1. Understanding of heat and mass transfer in energy systems (Heat pump system, Absorption/Adsorption system, Desiccant system)
  2. Optimal design and control of energy systems

A Brief Comment

Discussing both a local transport phenomenon and a global system performance simultaneously are considered to be important to enhance its performance and to realize the energy saving. We believe that it’s meaningful for researchers to gain such a broad perspective.
